Everyone's going flipping crazy about penguins! Find out more about the threats they face and how you can help protect their future in Antarctica. We're also thrilled to be working with our brand new Global Ambassador to tackle illegal wildlife trade. You've probably heard of him…

At the ends of the Earth... there's nowhere else to go

Polar bears and penguins may live poles apart but they have one thing in common – their homes are under threat. From the top of the world to the bottom, the Arctic and the Antarctic are among the largest remaining wildernesses on our planet, and they're vitally important to all of us.

This Christmas will you help us protect the animals living at the ends of our Earth?

#MontyThePenguin Working with John Lewis to protect penguins

Adélie penguins live in one of the world's harshest environments, but parts of their habitat are warming rapidly, affecting their feeding grounds. This Christmas John Lewis has been promoting our penguin adoption online and in store, and with help from Monty the Penguin, star of their Christmas advert, our penguin adoptions are really flying. We're also receiving all the profits from the Tom Odell song 'Real Love' featured in the famous ad!

Help Monty's friends in Antarctica by adopting a penguin

Andy's fight against wildlife crime

Our new Global Ambassador, world class tennis player Andy Murray, is supporting our work to tackle the illegal wildlife trade. Through our sniffer dogs programme in Nepal, he's sponsoring German Shepherd puppy 'Murray'. The aptly named puppy is being trained to use his keen nose to detect illegal products like tiger and leopard parts. Join Andy to make a real difference to the crime that puts threatened species like tigers, elephants and rhinos at risk every day.
