Subject: Overview of National and Regional Measures on ABS, 3rd ed.
Dear Colleagues,
With the entry into force of the Nagoya Protocol last Sunday, 12 October 2014, I would like to bring your attention to the final (3rd) edition of CISDL's study on ABS measures titled "Overview of National and Regional Measures on ABS: Challenges and Opportunities in Implementing the Nagoya Protocol". It provides a near comprehensive overview of ABS measures around the globe prior to the entry into force of the Nagoya Protocol, as well as an assessment of forthcoming challenges. I hope that it comes in useful to those of you interested in these matters, and we wish to thank the Swiss FOEN for their financial support on this project over the past three years.
The study may be accessed at: http://bit.ly/1unMFxw
Best wishes,
Frederic
