Subject: New Report Available on East Africa Forest Carbon Projects
We are pleased to inform you that a new report titled "Eastern Africa – Forest Carbon Projects Study" has been released and is available for download on the FCMC website. You may access the report, as well as an associated Brief, here.
The study reviews four forest carbon projects across three countries in Eastern Africa and analyzes the challenges and successes that such projects face, including those related to climate change, biodiversity conservation and community development. The report provides key conclusions and lessons learned for future program development, including activities relating to REDD+.
This message is intended to disseminate information and/or results from FCMC. A number of reports and documents are already available under "Resources" at www.fcmcglobal.org. Although FCMC is funded by USAID, the content of this email, as well as the documents found on the FCMC website, do not necessarily represent an official policy or position of the US government in general, nor USAID in particular.
